Dear Mumbaikar,
Im sorry. Im sorry that you died. Im sorry that you had to see your own death on television. Im sorry that you had to lie in your own blood and hear muffled screams.
But that’s all I am, Im sorry.
Im sorry that I have to trample on your hopes of a change – again. Im sorry that your mother will be haunted by your corpse forever and Im sorry, but the system shan’t change.
It has taken my time, energy and sweat to mutilate the honorable words of Gandhi and Nehru for my use. It has taken intelligence beyond genius to extract money from schemes of ‘development’
and today, my countrymen ask me to martyr my hard work for the nation?

Oh countrymen, but I can’t. I cannot allow you to be mislead by a ray of hope from the opposition just because your brother or sister got slaughtered. I have to fulfill my responsibilities, while condemning terrorism. I have to pit you against your own countrymen, while maintaining the facade of a true diplomat. I have to wave money to muffle the sound of truth while uttering the cliche, “Spirit of Mumbai” when the streets are awash with gore.

The disturbances you see around you are not my doing, but yours for you are attempting to rise out of this facade of democracy I have so intricately woven. You are attempting to take back something you had given to me 60 years ago.
I have to, but muffle my laughter as you, my countrymen suddenly realize you sew your mouths so long ago that you have forgotten how to speak. You have forgotten that we are but a politically-correct country where imperialism still rules and the common man is but a viewer as we pick up and crush your dreams one by one.
I can see your dreamy eyes envisioning a future without me, but before you venture too far away, I am clapping my hands to say – Wake up! For I am not leaving. Open your eyes and see that this was never America or some tropical paradise. This was and is India. A country where Hindutva rules you if you think about going to a pub or god forbid, doing anything remotely Western, and a country where the Constitution seemingly disappears in thin air when we the leaders encourage blood and gore to pave the streets. You were the ones who remained silent when I ran scot-free despite 3 murder convictions, and you were the ones who stood watching the show when I bribed IAS officials.
It was you.
So, stand silently and watch my dear friends as I continue to run my brilliantly directed show.

Yours truly,
The Elected Impostor

” lets kill the devil inside us and the world will be a much better place to stay”.

For all the blood and the lives lost

Can anyone really bear its cost.

Its sad to think but yes corrupt is our soul,

looks like we’re living in a mine of coal.

Man is thirsty for the blood of a man,

Is it all part of the god’s plan ?

Do we take from this atleast some heed,

trust me it is in us that terrorism breeds

We’ve drowned our selves in the sea of guilt and fear

Cause of which often we have to shed tears.

Men have metamorphosed into animals and beasts,

And on blood and flesh they dine and feast.

Were they born like this or something made them so,

In my mind this question often does grow.

Cause they have a heart that beats like your and mine

So why do they choose the path of crime.

So think about it and let me know too…..

As man today, is thirsty for the blood of a man ,

And i am sure it CANNOT BE A PART OF THE GOD’S PLAN.
